Two stage interview
Take responsibility and ownership of Transactional Advisory assignments allocated from time to time including all aspects of planning, fieldwork and completion and overall management of the assignment. Gain comprehensive understanding of clients’ business operations and strategic objectives and utilise such knowledge on engagement. Ensure detailed work programmes are prepared for each assignment - along with key deadlines – and review the same to ensure that client expectations and overall assignment objectives are established in order to achieve efficiency and effectiveness and where required in consultation with Director/ Partner. Compilation/ review of working papers, fieldwork reports and detailed reports in line with Grant Thornton International requirements and standards is one of the key responsibilities. Assist in developing thought leadership articles on Advisory Services and actively involve in business development activities including preparation of proposal/RFP’s.
Qualification and experience
Candidate should have a professional qualification like BICA / CA / ACCA / CFA / CIMA or any equivalent qualification and a minimum of 5-7 years post qualification experience in Transaction Advisory or Business Consulting practice. However, if a candidate has a Master’s Degree together with relevant appropriate experience will also be considered and can be substituted for the professional qualification.
Competencies candidate must have
Good knowledge on financial modelling; business valuation, due diligence, capital raising, business acquisition and disposal. Sound understanding of key business and value drivers of companies across industries. Ability to analyse financial and operational results of businesses. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products; good analytical skills and good communication and presentation skills are essential requirements.
