Two stage interview
End to end management of internal audit lifecycle for co-source and out-sourced engagements including risk assessment, planning, delivery and reporting. Perform the role as leader of Business Risk Services (including Internal audit). Understand the client expectations and establish overall assignment scope and objectives in order to achieve efficiency; where required in consultation with Director/ Partner. Develop detailed risk-based approach to audit including, planning; testing strategy to suit the requirements of each of the assignment and conclude on the assignment with the time frame fixed with the clients/Director/Partner. Supervise; guide and mentor executives/staff and be actively involved in their development. Maintain good working relationship with clients, pursue opportunities for new business and actively involved in enhancing client satisfaction. Assist in developing thought leadership articles on Business Risk Services and actively get involved in business development activities including preparation of proposal/RFP’s and winning new business.
Qualification and experience
Candidate should have a professional qualification CIA/ BICA/CA/ACCA/ICZA or any equivalent qualification and minimum 7-10 years’ post qualification experience in Business Risk Services/ Enterprise Risk Management / Internal Audit. Experience in IT Audit and/ or Cybersecurity services as well as experience in using internal audit software like BarnOwl, TeamMate, etc. will be an added advantage.
Competencies candidate must have
Good knowledge of risk assessment; risk workshops, risk-based internal audit (including IT General Control reviews) with track record of providing such services to medium to large organisations. Possess understanding of a range of business processes, associated risks and leading practice controls. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products, good analytical, excellent communication and presentation skills are also essential.
