Two stage interview
Planning, directing and completing accounting, supervising assistants, reviewing the financial statements, reports and related technical issues, Compilation of financial statement, assisting clients in tax planning and presentation, effectively training and supervising staff, continuously striving to exceed client expectation that will facilitate in increased billing and profitability.
Qualification and experience
Candidate should have a professional qualification like CA / BICA / ACCA / CIMA and a minimum of 3-5 years’ post qualification experience with an audit firm. Knowledge on various accounting software’s such as Pastel and Xero and Caseware will be given weightage. Position will be offered based on the skills and relevant experience of the candidate.
Competencies candidate must have
Demonstrate knowledge on IFRS and IFRS for SMEs and understanding of accounting concepts, knowledge of Botswana taxation / VAT, knowledge of popular accounting and payroll packages will be an added advantage. Candidate should also have good working knowledge of Microsoft products which are essential, possess good presentation and communication skills, uphold professional ethics and values, business acumen, time management and interpersonal skills.
