Two stage interview
Responsible for day to day management of the branch including business development activities and maintaining client relationship; oversees, manage and guide the Francistown team on all operational aspects; ensure timely completion of tasks allocated to team members with high quality of delivery; imparting on the job training to the team members and act as mentor for their growth; to prepare monthly and annual budgets and ensure that the same are met by the team; in-charge of workforce planning for the team; The applicant, if selected, will be reporting to the Partner in charge of the Francistown branch.
Qualification and experience
Candidate should have a professional qualification like BICA/ACCA/CA/CIMA/ICZA or any equivalent qualification with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, tax, VAT financial advisory services and/or audit specialization. Knowledge of Caseware, pastel and other accounting softwares will be given weightage. This is a managerial post the candidate should have experience in managing a team.
Competencies candidate must have
Demonstrate understanding of accounting concepts, knowledge of Botswana Taxation/VAT, excellent communication skills, good business development skills, people management skills or supervisory skills. Knowledge of audit concepts will surely make you a preferred choice. The candidate must be self-driven and able to work under minimal supervision. Good knowledge of Microsoft products, good analytical skills, communication and presentation skills are also essential for the position.
