Dadirai joined Grant Thornton Botswana in 2015. She had previously been with Grant Thornton Zimbabwe from 2008.
Dadirai has been in practice for over ten years. She joined Grant Thornton Zimbabwe after graduating from University and has experience in performing audit and assurance assignments, performing forensic audits and investigations, compilation, accounting services and conducting due diligence assignments.
Dadirai has experience in the audit of entities in sectors of manufacturing, retail, mining, non-profit organisations (including multinational non-governmental organisations), agriculture, education, IT, pension funds, media and financial services.
Professional qualifications and memberships
Dadirai holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree (Honours) from the Africa University, is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and an associate certified professional member of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA).
Whilst based in Zimbabwe, Dadirai obtained membership of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICPAZ), became a Registered Public Accountant (RPAcc) under the Zimbabwe Public Accountants and Auditors Board (PAAB), and an Associate of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). She is also on the professional stage under the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales (ICAEW).
Dadirai is involved in various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities of Grant Thornton in Botswana, the latest being Tshwaragano Primary School adopted in line with the “Adopt a school” program.
In her personal capacity, Dadirai donates to institutions that look after orphans and the deaf in Zimbabwe.
Presentations and publications
Dadirai has been a member of Grant Thornton’s corporate Toastmasters club since 2016, which has facilitated development of communication and leadership skills. She served as Treasurer of the club for the year 2017/18.
