Tracy is a Senior Manager in Advisory division with more than 10 years of experience in internal audit at different levels. She joined Grant Thornton’s Advisory services division in 2021.

Tracy has a strong background in internal auditing and has worked for organisations that cover utilities, Energy, Not for Profit, health, Third party insurance, parastatal sectors. Her experience includes conducting internal audits, Fraud risk management including investigative assignments, fraud awareness sessions, implementing and monitoring of fraud / ethics hotline, software implementation and management

Professional qualifications and memberships
Tracy is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), a qualified member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Associate Certified Professional member of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA), and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Botswana (IIAB). She holds a Certificate in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Technological proficiency
Tracy has extensive experience operating various software to execute internal audit methodology, such as IDEA (data analysis), and Process flow / mapping tools to monitor different processes and Teammate (audit workflow). She also has previous experience in using Internal audit software such as HighBond GRC, ACL Analytics and SAP ERP for audit purposes. Furthermore, she is proficient in using Microsoft tools to bring quality to different assignments.
Community involvement
Tracy participates in Grant Thornton’s CSR initiatives such as recently supporting Government’s Digital Transformation Strategy within the education sector by sponsoring a state-of-the art imported tech panel – a first for public schools in Botswana. Over the years, Grant Thornton has supported various local communities such as Learn to Play Bontleng community (2021), SSVP Christ the King Cathedral in Gaborone-west (2021/20), COVID-19 National Relief Fund (2020), Tswaragano Primary School in Old Naledi (2022/19/18/17).
In her personal capacity, Tracy is a member of Botswana Women Lean in Network which focuses on women and girl’s empowerment and community service.
