Role overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our growing Marketing Communications and Business Development team as a Marketing Communications Assistant. As an integral part of our MCBD team, you will support a wide range of initiatives from brand positioning to event execution, digital media, and client engagement. Your work will directly contribute to how the firm is perceived internally and externally, as well as to our business development efforts. If you are creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about branding, communication, and business growth, this role is for you.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement branding guidelines and templates across various channels
  • Support internal and external marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Maintain and update client databases and track client experience
  • Assist in planning and executing firm events
  • Develop and distribute marketing and PR materials
  • Maintain strong internal relationships and manage external supplier coordination
  • Assist with digital marketing, social media content, and online publications
  • Contribute to business development efforts and proposal coordination
  • Manage records, digital assets, and time-tracking systems
  • Support GTIL-related marketing initiatives and team administrative needs

Experience and skills required

  • A graduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Short courses or certifications in digital marketing, design, or PR are an added advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience with Adobe Suite, CRM/database systems, and design tools is a plus
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Team player with a growth mindset
