Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Executive – Advisory Services to support a wide range of advisory and corporate finance engagements. This role offers exposure to strategy consulting, feasibility studies, due diligence, valuations, M&A advisory, and capital markets transactions, working closely with senior professionals in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key responsibilities:
Market analysis, feasibility and strategy consulting
- Conduct market, industry and competitive analysis to support strategy and feasibility engagements.
- Develop financial models including revenue, cost and cash flow projections
- Support strategy formulation through scenario analysis and evaluation of strategic options.
- Prepare feasibility studies, business plans and client presentations.
Due Diligence & Valuations
- Perform financial and commercial due diligence, including analysis of financial statements, working capital and cash flows.
- Assist with quality of earnings analysis, normalised EBITDA and key risk assessments.
- Build and review valuation models using DCF, comparable companies and precedent transactions methodologies.
- Contribute clearly documented inputs to due diligence and valuation reports.
M&A Advisory & Capital Markets
- Support buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions through financial analysis and transaction modelling.
- Assist with deal structuring and evaluation of funding and capital options.
- Contribute to IPO listings and preparation of capital markets documentation (e.g. pitch decks and investor prospectuses).
- Liaise with clients and external advisors including legal and regulatory stakeholders.
Risk, Compliance & Quality Management
- Support client acceptance and continuance processes, including KYC and AML procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation, filing and archival of engagement files in line with the firm’s Quality Management Manual (QMM).
- Comply with all internal quality control, risk management and Advisory Services policies and checklists.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics or a related field.
- Professional qualification (CA, CFA, CPA or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in advisory, corporate finance, consulting or transaction services.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Working knowledge of data analytics and valisation tools (e.g. Power BI, IDEA, Tableau, Python or R) is desirable.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
