Oatametse Lechoro joined Grant Thornton in 2021. She is an Assistant Manager in the Finance and admin division with over 9 years’ work experience.
Experience
Oatametse has experience in finance department of various companies handling reconciliations, accounts receivable and payables, WHT and VAT computations, payroll and management accounts.

Oatametse has gained experience in different sectors including Trading, Educational Institution, Property, Real Estate and Hospitality.
Professional qualifications and memberships
Oatametse has completed the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification and currently studying towards obtaining ACCA qualification. She is also an Accounting Technician member of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA).
Technological proficiency
Oatametse has extensive experience operating various software to execute accounting and finance related roles, such as GreatSoft and PASTEL for general accounting and finance management. Furthermore, he is experienced in operating the BURS online platform for assorted tax compliance and filing purposes, and is proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, notably Microsoft Excel for accounting duties.
Community involvement
Oatametse participates in Grant Thornton’s CSR initiatives such as recently supporting Government’s Digital Transformation Strategy within the education sector by sponsoring a state-of-the art imported tech panel – a first for public schools in Botswana. Over the years, Grant Thornton has supported various local communities paying special attention to the upliftment of education in the education in Botswana.
