Fatima is an Assistant manager in the Corporate services division at Grant Thornton. She is excited by the ever changing times, and is keen to learn different aspects of the Corporate services profession as well as other new and varied areas and professions.
Fatima joined Grant Thornton in 2013 as an Executive, was promoted to Senior executive in 2015, and to a position of Assistant manager in 2019.
Fatima provides direct support and assistance to the Principal and Partner in the Corporate services division. She reports various risks involved in assignments to the Team Leader, and is involved in post-incorporation formalities of companies, new company registration and the submission of the clients’ annual returns and ensures compliance with the firm policies and procedures, quality control policies and the profession.
She attends client board meetings acting as the minute secretary and prepares draft minutes. Fatima oversees all the secretarial work done and statutory documents prepared by senior staff including resolutions and statutory forms.
Fatima’s sector experience involves both Accounting and Finance and well as Corporate Services.
Professional qualifications and memberships
Fatima is a fellow member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and an accounting technician member of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA).
Fatima is involved in various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities of Grant Thornton in Botswana, the latest being Tshwaragano Primary School adopted in line with the “Adopt a school” program.

Fatima conducts in-house trainings and motivational presentations to staff members within Grant Thornton.
