Seeletso is a Manager in the People and culture team, reporting to the directly to the Managing Partner of the firm. She joined the firm in 2018 as a Senior Executive.
Experience
Seeletso has 10 years amassed experience in key human resource issues and 14 years of work experience in different sectors. She started working in 2006 at Standard Chartered Bank Botswana as a Graduate Trainee until 2008. She then went on to work as a Credit Controller at Builders Merchants Botswana. She later joined the Ministry of Education in 2010 in the Human Resources department and then joined Grant Thornton in 2018 in the People and Culture division.
Sector experience
Seeletso brings in a vast amount of different experience which entails banking experience, retail experience as well as government experience. Her job in Grant Thornton entails managing and taking responsibility of recruitment, employee development, training, employee engagement, performance management, reward and recognition, social welfare as well as updating and maintenance of Human Resource records. She is responsible for managing the People and culture team.
Professional qualifications and memberships
Seeletso has attained a Masters’ Degree in Public Administration in Human Resources Management from the University of Botswana, which she completed in 2015. She also has a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Social Sciences having majored in Public Administration, which she acquired in 2006 also from the University of Botswana.
Community involvement
Seeletso is involved in various CSR activities of Grant Thornton in Botswana, the latest being support provided to Tshwaragano Primary School over the last 3 years on Grant Thornton annual CSR day. Seeletso is the firm’s “CSR
champion” who leads activities on Grant Thornton International CSR day.
